Allah humbles his believers from time to time. Nothing is meaningful if it is always there. For things to have a meaning, they should be less than they are sometimes.

He teaches us to be humble and how to be humble. Humbleness is a high degree of consciousness and spiritual growth. Among his believers, it is not only the people who live moderately will be humiliated, also the ones who liveextravagantly will also be humiliated, too.

If he desires, he can make anyone the most of the lower degree, or vice versa. So being humble in any situation is always a way to show our gratitude to God for all its humility in giving us a part of what he is.
